Privacy Policy

BeastMode ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the BeastMode mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use BeastMode:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
• Health and fitness data: Your current weight, goal weight, training location preference, and workout completion data that you choose to provide.
• Usage data: Workout logs, workout stage and completion events, water intake, sleep hours, app preferences, and app interaction data used to operate the service and understand whether key flows work.
• Purchase data: App Store product and transaction identifiers, subscription status, renewal or expiry information, and entitlement history. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
• Device and diagnostics data: Device type, operating system, app version, crash information, performance timings, and technical error details used to maintain app reliability. Sentry is configured not to send default personally identifiable information.
• Website analytics: Basic interaction and performance information when you visit beastmodeapp.com, collected through Vercel Web Analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Generate and deliver your personalised 28-day workout plan using AI
• Track your progress, streak, and habit data
• Send workout reminders and motivational notifications (which you can configure or disable)
• Verify App Store transactions, maintain your subscription entitlement, and manage your account
• Remember your language and appearance preferences
• Diagnose crashes, investigate performance problems, prevent duplicate events, and improve the app

3. AI Plan Generation

Your fitness data (training location, current weight, goal weight) is sent to the Anthropic Claude API to generate your personalised workout plan. This data is used solely to produce your plan and is subject to Anthropic's privacy practices. We do not share personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary for plan generation.

4. Data Storage

Your account, plan, workout, entitlement, and app-event data is stored using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is protected in transit and at rest. A randomly generated app-session identifier may be stored on your device and attached to app events; after signup, events from that same session may be linked to your account so we can measure the onboarding flow accurately.

We retain active account data for as long as your account remains open and for as long as reasonably required to operate, secure, and comply with legal obligations relating to the service. You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account. Active account data is removed through that flow; limited residual copies may remain temporarily in encrypted processor backups or security logs until their normal retention period expires.

5. Payments

Payment processing is handled directly by Apple through the App Store. We do not store or have access to your payment card details. To grant and maintain paid access, BeastMode sends the App Store transaction identifier and product identifier to our server, verifies the signed transaction with Apple, and stores the resulting entitlement, renewal, expiry, refund, or revocation status. Subscription billing and cancellation are managed through your App Store account.

6. Push Notifications

BeastMode uses local push notifications scheduled on your device. We do not use third-party push notification services. Notification permissions can be managed in your device settings at any time.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties except:

• Anthropic (for AI plan generation — see Section 3)
• Supabase (for authentication, secure data storage, app-event analytics, and server functions)
• Apple (for subscription payment processing and signed transaction verification)
• Sentry (for sampled crash and performance diagnostics, with default PII disabled)
• Vercel (for hosting beastmodeapp.com and website analytics)
• As required by law

8. Children's Privacy

BeastMode is not intended for users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To delete your account, use Settings → Delete Account. For any other request, contact us at support@beastmodeapp.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of BeastMode after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
